From Frustration to Fruition

A call to action comes when everything and everyone begins to ruffle your feathers. Letting work and other obligations get underneath your skin is easy when everything seems to be going wrong. Trying to get somewhere in life makes even the sharpest people tense. Especially when you have to swim upstream and against the current stream to achieve your goal. At one point in my life, everything I was attempting to do was coming with obstacles. I said to myself, I could start, but I had no money. I could join a club, but I had no friends. I could fight in life, but it had no purpose. It was always a but! If you don’t know it by now, the word but is so small, but it has so much power stop greatness and land you on the sidelines of life. As a great speaker once said you need to get your but out of the way! Literally this is a recipe for success. As living with out limits can prove to make for an interesting journey. Your path will not always be clear. Many times  you will not move with out being called to action.

Frustration is that call. It’s that kick in the butt to make the but statements move out of the way. You want to move, but you are broke? Find a way to move anyway. You want to land a new job or change careers, but you are too old? Think again many people who started late in life guided by the wisdom that often accompanies age led them to great and successful stories. When life tempts you to put an excuse as to why you can’t live and thrive, remind life that excuses are not going to sound the same when you become regretful later in life. As a great teacher once said, “Excuses are tools of incompetence that build monuments to nothing.”

Shake the depression by moving from apathy into action. Find your passion again, or create a new taste for life by trying something that you normally would say no to. I say to you, say yes! You hold the paint brush in life. You, with the help of the Lord can paint a new story. A life painted with bright and beautiful bold strokes that represent adventure and courage. Go from frustration to fruition. Remember that because of Christ, all things are possible to him who believes.
