Is Jesus Famous?

In a culture where everything is about entertainment, views, and likes are important. We look up to entertainers, and those who have the innate ability to make us have an emotional response to their content. It seems like everyone has been given a platform. What are you doing with yours? Are you promoting yourself or the things that you believe? Are you adding to the confusion or are you making a way for peace? We must remember that all our influence as believers should be to point others to Christ.

Even in the year 2024 there are lost souls who don’t know Jesus. They have not been introduced the real Christian experience. In my quest to speak about the life that I have enjoyed with the Lord, I desire to reach more people, to introduce them to my God. We all have a desire to be effective and have people notice what we are doing, however it should never be at the expense of not sharing what He has done.

You may not know that you have a responsibility to share your faith, but you do. What if you had never heard the greatest message called the gospel. What if you had not been made to know the truth of the word of God. We must take every opportunity whether digital, virtual, or actual in real life to give those around us a way to the cross.

We cannot forget about what Jesus did. He came, he died, and he rose again for the salvation of all the world. While we were sinners, he died that we could come back to the father and receive forgiveness. He then gives us power through His Holy Spirit to live a Godly life and to testify of Him. We are blessed to be engrafted into the family of God.

Let us not deny others that same grace that we found by remaining silent. As the gospel song writer says, “I will not be silent I will always worship you!” A part of our worship and devotion to God is bragging on his wonderful works. It is when we share the goodness of God in our lives that others may become curious and may desire to get to know the awesome God, we experience every day. Wouldn’t it be nice if the people who really believed in Jesus and had a new birth experience began to talk about it and make their mission to make Jesus famous. We would not have room enough in our churches to accommodate all the new believers that would come to know the Lord. This is my mission; I pray it is yours as well.
